Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search box is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the terms and supplies its results. Coke County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the correspondence. It is not disclosed outside the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server logs may capture technical facts when a visitor loads a page:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files used to understand traffic patterns, such as popular pages and exit points. Analytics vendors may combine visits into summary statistics. A browser can block cookies, although doing so may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Coke County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general directions to the Coke County/District Clerk, the 51st District Court and lower courts, and re:SearchTX. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this resource is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their own privacy terms govern submitted data, retention, and disclosure, and those practices are beyond this site's control. Review the applicable provider policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Coke County clerk, courts, re:SearchTX, legal-aid resources, or commercial tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and select ads. That processing is controlled by those providers.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so a breach or unauthorized access cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Notice that a minor supplied information will prompt a deletion review.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Texas and federal privacy or consumer-protection laws may provide rights beyond those listed here. The Texas Public Information Act concerns public government information and does not govern this private site's visitor-data practices. Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 likewise addresses judicial records within its scope, not private analytics data. Subject to applicable law, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
